NAHW Egypt
The National Arts In Health Week Egypt (NAHWE) unites, spotlights, and advances the interdisciplinary fields of arts & health across Egypt’s governorates to strengthen the role of arts as a health behavior. NAHWE brings together medical doctors, healthcare professionals, social workers, mental health professionals, creative arts therapists, creative arts professionals, researchers, academics, students, artists, musicians, singers, performance arts professionals, actors, filmmakers, government institutions, NGOs, policymakers, and social entrepreneurs on a national level to further explore and advance the intersection of the arts and health across the country.
Our Aim
NAHWE aims to enhance health and wellbeing in Egypt through arts, promoting arts as a health behavior and celebrating artistic heritage. It seeks to create a network of professionals and advance arts and health intersection through collaborations and research. The project aims to raise awareness about creative art therapies, offer networking opportunities, and support social entrepreneurs in the arts for health & wellbeing sector in Egypt.

Awareness
Shed light on the crucial role of creative art therapies in preventing, managing, and healing health and well-being. Additionally, raise awareness about arts in health practices in Egypt and highlight the contributions of practitioners in this field.
Accessibility
Provide networking opportunities to encourage dialogue and collaboration, while also mapping out the resources of arts in health stakeholders in Egypt. Additionally, create a platform where the audience can engage with practitioners.
Advancement
Enrich the arts in health and wellbeing sector in by advancing scientific research, promoting interdisciplinary collaborations, and creating a supportive environment for practitioners to excel and bring about positive changes. Moreover, we aim to empower social entrepreneurs to advance the field even further.
